Robert Morris, MD

Dr. Morris joined the faculty of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and the medical staff of the Los Angeles County Juvenile Court Health Services in 1986. In 1998, he became Chief of Pediatrics at the Orthopedic Hospital and continues in this position today. From 2001 to 2003, he assumed the Medical Director position for the Louisiana Juvenile Correctional system to help construct a new health care program in response to a federal lawsuit against the state.

Currently he is the Health Care Director for the Division of Juvenile Justice at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He also serves as Co-Director of the UCLA Adolescent Medicine training program and has published several papers on the health risk behavior of incarcerated youth and correctional health care. Dr. Morris is board certified in pediatrics and adolescent medicine.
