Terry A. Bonecutter, currently a Senior Consultant for COPE Health Solutions, has been in the healthcare profession for over three decades. For the past eighteen years, his work has been centered in Los Angeles. Joining QueensCare in 1999, Mr. Bonecutter served as President and Chief Executive Officer of both QueensCare and QueensCare Family Clinics until December 2009. Driven by his belief in the organizations' missions, Mr. Bonecutter has transformed QueensCare and QueensCare Family Clinics into vehicles of excellent healthcare for the low-income and underserved. He is an advocate for healthcare reform, and a collaborative community partner.
Mr. Bonecutter received his Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters in Business Administration from the Missouri State University System. He began his career at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where he held several senior management positions. He also worked at the nationally renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in senior management positions that included: the Hospital, the Group Practice and Graduate Medical Education. His work in California includes both Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and Queen of Angeles-Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital before joining QueensCare.
Known as a hands-on manager with a caring heart, Mr. Bonecutter has spent his entire career involved with large-scale healthcare organizations in urban settings. He is well-known in Los Angeles as a leader who is deeply committed to finding better ways to provide healthcare services for the low-income, under insured and uninsured in core city areas.
The father of two sons, Brett and Brian, and the grandfather of six children, Mr. Bonecutter is a fan of antique automobiles, likes to hike, and is an avid reader. He currently lives in North Hollywood.
