COPE Health Solutions’ Mentoring & Professional DevelopmentSM (MAP) program dramatically reduces turnover and improves job satisfaction.

The MAPSM program provides new-graduates and new-hires in health care professions with the training and mentoring necessary to ensure a smooth transition from school to professional practice. MAPSM creates a welcoming, enriching and supportive educational environment, while fostering team-building and interdisciplinary cooperation at the employing organization.
MAPSM components include:
- Nursing and Allied Health Residency – structured to transition new nurses and allied health professionals into their new positions
- Enhanced Preceptor Education – train current staff to serve as preceptors equipped to teach, mentor and support new-hires
COPE Health Solutions works with each health care organization to develop new health professions graduate residency programs that are uniquely tailored to the specific needs of each organization.

Staff Education Programs
To facilitate continuing education of health care professionals, we work with our clients to develop the curriculum and training necessary to provide continuing education for their staff.
The overarching objectives of these staff education programs are to:
- Increase open communication between new-graduates/new-hires and support staff
- Reduce attrition rates of new-graduate/new-hire nursing and allied-health professions
- Increase the quality of care delivered to patients
- Improve clinical and cultural competency of clients’ health workforce
- Increase patient and staff satisfaction
